“Assuming Twitter can sort out its technology problems, I think I might have a business model for it. I feel though that it may be a bit presumptuous of me to think this given that greater minds (read the comments at the link) than mine have tried and apparently have so far failed to find a viable business model for the popular microblogging service. Not least because I actually haven’t jumped on the Twitter bandwagon myself just yet.”

link on this article leads to another (http://www.calacanis.com/2008/01/02/the-three-business-models-that-make-twitter-a-billion-dollar-bus/2) which states 'I would estimate 1-5% of Twitter users would pay for a professional version that had 99.9999% up time'
Mahalo boy does not know what he is talking about as he has never run a large scale service if he had he would not make ridiculous statements. As for his business models, oh its advertising, oh never figured that one out.
